Anema e Core

8 Bolton Rd, Eastbourne BN21 3JX, UK – 01323 723023

The best Italian food I’ve eaten in Eastbourne. The staff where very polite and attentive. Great pizza and a truly Italian, family run feel to the restaurant. Very surprised by this place and will definitely be returning!

Truly Italian restaurant, very good tomato sauce from south Italy. The authentic flavors from the "Good country": Italy. Very nice place, and staff. Loved it, we will be back!

Exquis

1 Pevensey Rd, Eastbourne BN21 3HJ, UK – 01323 430885

Super quaint little French restaurant, small and selective menu however it means that they really do cook their dishes to perfection. Been here so many times over the years and they have never failed to serve fantastic food, just be advised to book ahead as your not likely to get a walk in seat, like myself many others have found ourselves very loyal to Exquis and they are always very busy. One of my favourite places to eat and the prices are nothing but extremely reasonable.

An excellent French restaurant. The food was superb. The whole experience was fantastic. Highly recommended.

.Gr/eat Greek Deli & Cuisine

215-217 Terminus Rd, Eastbourne BN21 3DH, UK – 01323 734877

We ordered the Evening Dinner Meze and highly recommend it!! Large quantity of food and each dish was very tasty and full of flavour. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Would recommend to book a table over the weekend period but we were lucky.

A Gr/eat place to eat. Plenty of options for food and drink. Great service, friendly staff. Worth while booking a table as it can get busy at weekends. Average price for the meal. Look out for the meze, very nice with the right amount of food.

Ashoka

28-30 Cornfield Rd, Eastbourne BN21 4QH, UK – 01323 733344

I visited the Ashoka initially after a friend recommended how good it was. Now I don't go anywhere else. The staff are always welcoming and friendly, the food is consistently good and portion sizes sensible. Lots of good menu options with a wide variety to cater for all tastes. Would highly recommend.

Ok this is a tough one. The food was excellent, however the only thing that let them down was the service. The waiter did not know what some of the drinks were to the point where my husband had his drink and had drunk most of it before I got mine. Then a waiter came to take our order and we'd not been given any menus despite being sat for 20 minutes. Again let me say the food was excellent. So I give 5 stars for the food and 3 for the service.

Seafront Tandoori

63 Seaside Rd, Eastbourne BN21 3PL, UK – 01323 720084

Not sure how others have given 5 stars. Mediocre food. Onion bhajis were very small and and not very nice. There must be better Indian restaurants in Eastbourne

Very nice place to have a meal food was delicious and service was good

Tuk Tuk Indian Street Food

240 Terminus Rd, Eastbourne BN21 3DE, UK – 01323 430210

Excellent South Indian Street food. Very good quality food, well presented and with great service. Highly recommended. Easy to try things you may not have tried before.

Great food very simple no heavy sauce very light and filling. Good service quantities are just right. Decor good. Food is keeping with the streets of India.

Best Reviewed Italian Pasta and Pizza Restaurants

Zizzi Eastbourne

3-5 Bolton Rd, Eastbourne BN21 3JU, UK – 01323 301885

Lunch for two. Generally good but service slow for dessert. The pizza was good the pasta my wife ordered less so. Alcohol free cocktail very good but beer expensive. Overall good but a little pricey. Waiting staff friendly and polite.

The pizza is incredible! Slow service because i went on a busy Friday evening but the food arrived really quickly. Such amazing pizza I ate the entire thing. I recommend zizzis to anyone.

Little Italy

3 Carlisle Rd, Eastbourne BN21 4BT, UK – 01323 439323

Nice casual intimate little Italian restaurant... A Saturday night never booked walked in around 9 p.m. Tables spare....Something on the menu for mostly everyone. £8- £15 main course.. staff tried hard. Quite enjoyable.

This is a lovely Italian restaurant. The food was excellent and all of the staff were very nice and friendly, I loved the pizza at this place

Rosetto

Rosetto Restaurant, 17 Carlisle Road, Eastbourne BN21 4BT, UK – 01323 417733

Had a great meal here and intend going back before we leave for home this week. I had the liver. It was superb. The best ever. It’s a small and well run restaurant with very friendly staff.

We had some lovely food here. Unfortunately the staff (who apparently were all new ) weren't totally on the ball! They were friendly and when we questioned something they were polite and dealt with our query. The food was lovely.

Broadway Eastbourne

6 Bolton Rd, Eastbourne BN21 3JX, UK – 01323 730006

11:45 We had coffee & Danish/Tea Cake, asked if the Tea Cake could be toasted, the happy helpful waitress said no problem and also asked if butter & jam would be required. What brilliant service, the coffees had those lovely almond flavoured small crunchy biscuits. The outside area, where we were seated had a lot of people in, the buzz, atmosphere, service and location was first class. This place needs to keep open so go and visit and make it a meeting place with your friends. You won’t be disappointed.

First of all I can only speak for this venue in the evening as I’ve never visited during the day. Broadway is done up very nicely, looking extremely professional and exclusive without being tacky or as if it’s trying too hard. The outside area is honestly pretty amazing, and is great when quiet or busy. Unfortunately these looks hit you where it hurts, at the price tag. The drinks are expensive, even with the offers/promotions put on. The space is also very tight, as I’ve often bumped in to/been bumped when moving through the venue. Overall though, it’s a very good pace to unwind and chill as it’s never chaotic or loud.

Bill's Eastbourne Restaurant

153 Terminus Rd, Eastbourne BN21 3 NU, UK – 01323 739963

Bill is such an amazing restaurant starting from the interior through the delicious food to the great and friendly service. They have very good menu options and even though the price is a bit higher than your average restaurant, it is totally worth those extra pennies. We’ve had fish and steak and both tasted very yummy with a good amount of herbs and drinks were also good. My husband found a tiny piece of metal in his drink, which was not even a big thing , but they were insisting on getting him another drink for free of charge. Serving staff was very relaxed, yet professional. I would highly recommend this place!

The service was fantastic as it usually is at Bills. The outside seating area was great on a warm day. The baby changing facilities were a good bonus too. With a newborn we were limited on time so opted for the 'Sharing Plate'. We were a little disappointed to be fair. It wasn't a great portion and the toasted Focaccia seemed out of place. A flat bread would have worked better. Everything was tasty but just a little underwhelming and a little 'minimal'. The interior was cool and spacious if you wanted to escape the heat.

The Sovereign Harbour Harvester

29 The Waterfront, Sovereign Harbour, Eastbourne BN23 5UZ, UK – 01323 470074

Good quality food and excellent service. Food was brought to us quickly and was well presented! The only downside to eating outside was the horror of the wasp attacking my gravy

This used to be our favourite "go to" family restaurant but it has got too expensive lately. It's great in the day if you want a lovely cheap kids ice-cream but the dinner prices have crept up too much. We now go to the Rodmill on Kings drive for similar food but cheaper for the whole family. We still go to the harvester if we are on a walk with the kids and they want an ice-cream and coffee for us.

Toreros Tapas Restaurant & Bar

193 Terminus Rd, Eastbourne BN21 3DH, UK – 01323 351475

Just been for the first visit ,we sat on a lovely warm night by the open door. They were pretty busy so we had to.wait a little for food but it was worth every bite. Sitting there felt like sitting in a restaurant in Spain, we had a great selection of tapas which was delicious. I gave it 5 stars because we didn't mind the wait ,we were enjoying the ambiance . Staff were very attentive and keeping us updated. I would recommend it.

Excellent food all fresh and hot. We had the tapas - every dish tasted delicious and plenty of food - more than we could eat. We still managed to make room for dessert though - also delicious, home made profiteroles. Great meal. :)
